Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the terms and supplies its own results. Conecuh County Warrant Records does not keep or log the names, birth dates, or other query terms entered there.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained so that we can answer it. The message remains within the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Normal server logs collect limited technical details when a page loads:
- Page-view timestamps
- The referring website, when one is supplied
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- Device type and operating system
- Browser name and version
- The device's assigned IP address
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. They help show, in aggregate, which pages receive visits and where use ends. Analytics providers may assist with that measurement. A browser can block cookies, although some site functions may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
Collected technical and service data supports a limited set of operational purposes:
- Route a submitted search to the selected partner service
- Maintain site availability and page speed
- Find and correct technical faults
- Measure which pages are useful
- Display advertising that may reflect user interests
No Warrant Data on File
Conecuh County Warrant Records does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of personal warrant records. The site identifies official routes such as the Conecuh County Circuit Clerk, the Sheriff, and the municipal courts. It does not build consumer reports from visitor data and is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Independent companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted through one of those tools is governed by that provider's privacy policy. The provider chooses its retention and disclosure practices, which we do not control. Read that policy before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Conecuh courts, municipal portals, the Alabama court system, law-enforcement resources, legal services, or outside search tools. The destination site's policy applies after a visitor follows the link. Review it before sharing personal information.
Some advertising services may track activity across websites to select ads. That processing occurs within the advertising provider's systems.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be available to:
- Analytics providers that measure visits and performance
- Search partners that process a submitted query
- Advertising networks that place ads
- Government or law-enforcement bodies when valid legal process requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect collected information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so a breach can never be ruled out.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor supplied such data, we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Applicable Alabama and federal law may provide rights concerning personal data. Alabama public-records law, including Code of Alabama §§36-12-40 through 36-12-45, concerns public writings held by covered government bodies and does not turn this private site into a government records custodian. A user may still ask us to:
- Correct inaccurate personal information we hold
- Provide a copy of personal information we hold
- Delete personal information, where required or permitted
- Honor an available opt-out from certain processing
